About The Gallery Bankside Gallery is the home of the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) and the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE). They run a changing programme of exhibitions of contemporary watercolours and original prints by Members of the two Societies. Members are elected by their peers in a tradition of excellence reaching back almost two hundred years. Their work embraces both established and experimental practices and the exhibitions reflect these different approaches. During exhibitions, the Gallery is open daily from 11am until 6pm.
